Business Management
The Business Management program at NPT Region 3 introduces students to the business world, focusing on Management, Marketing, Accounting and Entrepreneurship.
MOT and MAS
A Medical
Administrative Specialist (MAS) and Medical Office Transcriptionist (MOT) are important jobs in medical office, clinic and hospital settings. This multi-skilled practitioner is competent in medical records management, insurance processing, coding and billing, management of practice finances, information processing, and fundamental office management tasks.
Construction Technology
The Construction Technology program offers students an opportunity to learn the skills needed to become a successful and valued employee in the construction industry.
Outdoor Leadership
The Outdoor Leadership program at Northern Penobscot Tech is designed to help students form their skills and interests into a career within Maine's Recreational and Outdoor Industry. The course will be consistent with the Registered Maine Guide Exam. Students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and critical thinking in the classroom and in the field.
Culinary Arts
Culinary Arts students study all aspects of the food service industry, and prepare for a successful career in the field. Safety and proficiency in food preparation and storage, equipment use, all cooking methods, service, menu planning and record keeping.
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
Northern Penobscot Tech is the only technical school in the state of Maine that offers a clinical Medical Assisting Program at the high school level. This two-year, college level class, connects students who are interested in the medical field, to medical professionals, and offers them a wide variety of knowledge, such as: a medical terminology class, medical documentation, and clinical procedures using state of the art equipment.
Digital Communications
Unleash your creativity in our Digital Communication & Graphic Design program, where you'll learn to create visually stunning designs and communicate messages effectively through digital media.
Sophomore CTE Exploratory
The CTE Exploratory program provides sophomores with a variety of hands-on experiences to help them find their passion and connect it to the programs at Region III. Students will learn foundational knowledge and skills that will give them an edge when they return as full-time CTE students in their junior year.
Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Education program when successfully completed will have the student ready to enter the field of Early Education and Care as a Certified Early Childhood Assistant (CECA). This requires a CPR/First Aid Certification, passing the NOCTI test, completion of 180 hours in the classroom as well as 180 hours of fieldwork, and completing a professional portfolio.
Welding
Students enrolled in the program now have the opportunity to become certified as an American Welding Society Structural Certified Welder at the Lincoln facility, allowing students to earn a nationally recognized certification without having to leave the area.
