Sarah Bernardini, RMA

I attended Region III for Registered Medical Assisting my Junior and Senior year of high school. I earned 2 national certifications while attending Region III.I am nationally certified as a Registered Medical Assistant and as a Registered Phlebotomy Technician. I am currently working full time at Millinocket Regional Hospital, where I was able to start work two weeks after graduation. Region has prepared me with medical training that I use every day in my daily tasks during work. RMA program has also equipped me with the foundation if I choose to further my education.

Benjamin Ferland

I am now in my (3rd year) as a Police Officer with the City of Bangor and recently was chosen to become a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team Member. I am proud to say that I started my Law Enforcement Career at NPT Region 3.”

Raeny Davis

I started the medical assisting and phlebotomy program through NPT Region III when I was a junior at Maine Connections Academy. At the end of my senior year, I passed my exam and received my RPT and RMA certifications.

After graduating, I had many options to choose from in the medical field. I currently hold the position of lead medical assistant in the Neurosurgery and Spine department at Northern Light Health, where I have the amazing opportunity of learning directly from our neurosurgeons every day.

The medical assisting program started my career, and I couldn’t be happier with where I am today. I will always appreciate my teachers and classmates for helping me learn and grow. Thank you to everyone at NPT Region III!
